Our Hoto noodles have been winning a lot of customer praise because of their homemade two-year-old soy bean paste broth. You can also enjoy our soy bean paste called “Nanban Miso” as a topping on your favorite dish.
MOMIJI-TEI is located by Lake Kawaguchi in the Maple Grove which is famous for its beautiful autumn leaves. Ingredients: Whole, uncooked soy beans (Hokkaido), rice molt, and salt (Naruto) |

Mix the salt and rice molt together. |
| 3. |
Simmer the soy beans until well cooked. |
| 4. |
Mash the cooked soy beans. |
| 5. |
Mix the mashed soy beans and mixture of salt and rice molt together. |
| 6. |
Let the mixture age for two years. |

MOMIJI-TEI serves a set menu including soy sauce seasoned rice, small sesame
tofu balls, and soy sauce seasoned small potatoes. Each dish is prepared
using mother’s homemade traditional style and enriches the “at home” hospitality
enjoyed by all our guests.
MOMIJI-TEI’s Specialty Noodles, such as Hoto noodles, UDON (wheat flour
noodle), and SOBA (buckwheat flour noodle), are also very popular with
